About Angela van Son

Angela van Son lives in Utrecht, the Netherlands. She writes poems and very short stories about the strangeness of being human. She likes to put a twist on things, whether it’s dark, humorous, philosophic or playful. 

In 2020 she will publish More than meets the I, a collaboration with her mother, who’s a professional photographer. Her poems have been published by Auroras & Blossoms Poetry JournalI’m Not a Silent PoetArt Saves Lives International, Runcible Spoon Poetry and Prose and Celebrating Change.

Angela works internationally as a self-employed coach. Her clients typically struggle with procrastination and self criticism. They report better relationships with themselves and more joy in life as results of working with her. Find her at
