I have always thought that through art it is possible to point out the importance of environmental issues. My work process can start from the title that can be a word game or a weird assonance. Sometimes I browse my stencil patterns trying to match them to create an unusual or surreal composition.
These two acrylics, Dropping and Pollution, are a part of a larger ecological series.
Fabio Sassi is a visual artist living in Bologna, Italy. He makes acrylics and photos putting a quirky twist to his subjects. Sometimes he employs an unusual perspective that gives a new angle of view using what is hidden, discarded or considered to have no worth by the mainstream.
